2020 was certainly not the year I was expecting. As a matter of fact, like the majority of us, I was picturing something a lot different back in January.

I had this idea pour over me that I couldn’t get past. It was an idea that seemed, well, quite ambitious and crazy when the thought hit me. But as soon as it hit me, I couldn’t shake it. 100 candles for 100 people I know… as I am writing this memories flash through my head. I hadn’t made candles before or poured concrete or ordered 50 lbs of soy wax and 50 ounces in essential oils but I knew this was a project that I couldn’t pass up.

Now I cannot give you an exact explanation of how this candle idea came to be but I will tell you it started with permanent imagery that flashed in my mind as I was deeply thinking and talking with God.
